What is the VOC Lighting DR5 5mm magnetic track system?
VOC Lighting DR5 is a 24V magnetic track lighting system built around an ultra-thin 5 mm track profile. The supplied sheets cover five track profile formats (recessed 45 × 23 mm, recessed with 12.5 mm detail 45 × 23 mm, surface / supendant 12 × 25 mm, round supendant Ø28 mm and supendant 12 × 42 mm), connectors, connecting modules, corners and ten luminaire families. Is the DR5 system 24V or 48V?
DR5 is listed as 24V on every supplied luminaire card. VOC Lighting also publishes the MT26 48V range, which is a separate system. A shared voltage, a similarly thin profile or a comparable magnetic interface does not establish compatibility between the two ranges — confirm the track, connector, module and driver set for the project before specifying.
How do I choose a track profile?
The supplied sheet lists recessed, surface / supendant, round supendant and supendant formats. Recessed uses a 45 × 23 mm plaster-in outline, with a second profile adding a 12.5 mm internal detail. Surface / supendant measures 12 × 25 mm, round supendant is Ø28 mm and supendant is 12 × 42 mm. The sheet does not state voltage, material or available lengths for the profile range, so request the approved code, length list and drawing.
Can every DR5 luminaire be mounted on every track profile?
The supplied cards do not state per-profile compatibility. All ten luminaire families are 24V magnetic track luminaires, but the sheets do not confirm which of the four profiles each one accepts. Ask for a compatibility review covering the luminaire, profile, connector, module and driver as one set.
What colour temperatures and beam angles are listed?
Every luminaire card lists a 3000K / 4000K / 6500K range. Beam-angle groups appear on the floodlight (15° / 30° / 50°), the CSP linear light (50°), the spotlight (15° / 24° / 36° / 50°), the surface downlight (24° / 60°), the downlight (120°) and the 360° tube light (360°). The SMD 2025 linear light, the ball surface light, the ball pendant light and the strip light show no beam-angle group and are marked require confirmation.
Does a luminaire include its track and accessories?
No. Track profiles, connectors, modules, corners, suspension kits and luminaires are separate items in the quotation brief. Select every component the layout needs and ask for a compatibility review before ordering.
Are the track profile codes and lengths confirmed?
No. The supplied track-profile sheet shows geometry and installation captions but prints no product code, voltage, material or length list for the profile range. Request the approved code, length options and technical drawing for your layout.
Are control options listed for DR5 luminaires?
The supplied luminaire cards do not print a control option row. Request ON-OFF, phase dimming or wireless control confirmation per model, together with the matching driver and the maximum run length it supports.
Can I combine different products in one quotation?
Yes. Configure each model, choose its quantity and add it to the same project brief. The same model can be added more than once with a different variant, colour temperature or beam angle, and grouped component cards let you select individual parts.
