R18 semi-flexible magnetic track bent into a curved orbital run, with the perforated honeycomb spotlight, the cone spotlight, the disc spotlight and the pendant cone luminaire fitted on the same band. The track, the luminaires and the mounting hardware are separate components — see the product cards below for the printed values.
48V R18 Semi-Flexible Magnetic Track Light System — 18 × 5 mm Bendable Track
VOC Lighting's R18 is a 48V semi-flexible track lighting system: a conductive track band with an 18 × 5 mm minimum cross-section that is bent and cut on site to follow the drawn geometry, carrying 32 luminaire models printed from 2W to 30W. The track is delivered in 5, 10 and 20 metre rolls and bends to a minimum radius of approximately 300 mm, and it is printed in five colours — black, gray, green, khaki and orange. Every luminaire on the sheets supplied for this page is printed at DC 48V with CRI ≥90, a flicker figure below 3%, an aluminium and PC body and a 3000–6000K CCT range.

IP20 is printed on the power supply sheets; not printed for the track band
Sheets supplied for this series, reproduced without modification: 40 sheets carrying 16 components and 32 luminaire models. The track band, the luminaires, the hardware and the power supply serve different purposes and are ordered separately. Printed on every one of the 32 luminaire sheets: DC 48V · CRI ≥90 · flicker <3% · body in aluminium + PC · black / white / gold · a 3000–6000K CCT figure · ON-OFF, with the note that the track shell and track strip colours can be freely changed. Two items still need confirmation before a quotation: the DX1832 model code, printed on two different sheets, and the DX1830 size, where the parameter row prints 99 × 118 and the drawing prints 285 — both are flagged on their cards. No sheet prints a certificate, a photometric file, a load rating, a maximum run length, a dimming protocol or the mains input for the supply — request those with the quotation.
How the system is built
Choose the R18 track by the shape you need, not by a fixed length
Three decisions are printed on the sheets: the geometry of the run, the section of the band, and which of the 32 luminaires is fitted. Everything else follows from those three.
The track is cut and folded on site — the geometry comes from the drawing, not from a length list
A rigid track profile is ordered from a fixed length list. The R18 band is not: it is delivered in 5, 10 and 20 metre rolls and is bent during installation, with a minimum curvature radius of approximately R300 mm, and it can be cut and folded in situ. The layout sheets supplied for this page illustrate the range this allows, from a 3000 mm straight line and a 2370 mm wave with 500 mm rise, to a 2700 mm wave with 900 mm segments and a 1500 × 1470 mm corner that turns on an R500 mm curve. One drawing also prints an R80 mm circle, which is smaller than the ≈R300 mm minimum radius stated on the track sheet — that figure requires confirmation before it is used in a layout.
18 × 5 mm is the minimum section, and the run decides the power supply
The track band is bimaterial: two copper conductors are co-extruded with a section of thermoplastic elastomer, and a slender harmonic steel band runs along the back to hold the shape that is woven into it. The section is a minimum — 18 mm wide and 5 mm deep — and each of the five colours is a track-band colour, not a luminaire colour. Both power supply sheets are printed at 100W / 200W with PC and aluminium construction, IP20 protection and a −20°C to 40°C ambient range, so a longer or denser run is a power-supply question rather than a track question. What the sheets do not print is a load rating, a maximum run length or a fixing spacing for the band; those three figures decide how many luminaires one run can carry and require confirmation.
32 luminaire models share one printed platform: DC 48V, CRI ≥90 and a 3000–6000K CCT figure
Every luminaire sheet supplied for this page is printed at DC 48V with CRI ≥90, a flicker figure below 3%, an aluminium and PC body, black / white / gold finishes and a 3000–6000K CCT figure. The models then separate by power — 2–10W on the XS1822 long tube lamp up to 30W on the GD1809 spotlight — by size, by beam angle from 15°–55° on the focus folding spotlights to 360° on the silicone light strips, and by optic, with lens optics on the spotlight family and PC modules on the floodlight and ball family. Whether the CCT figure is a tunable range or an ordering range is not stated on the sheets and requires confirmation. The official sheets carry a Rotation field printed as "Lamp body rotatable", and 24 of the 32 models print it — the spotlight, floodlight, grille, tube, circular and spliced families. On the remaining eight it is not printed, so their rotation and tilt require confirmation. The selection table above marks both cases.
Where it is specified
Where the R18 semi-flexible track is specified: commercial, leisure and residential interiors
The application sheets supplied for this page show the same band used for continuous spliced shapes, for decorative circles and for run-of-space lighting.
The R18 system is written into the sheets as suitable for commercial spaces, where runs are spliced continuously to create a required shape, and for leisure, commercial and home interiors where a lighter decorative line is wanted. The circles are used as a feature rather than as a functional grid: the sheets show circular runs on a ceiling and on a wall, in different colours, and combinations of two circles in one room. Because the band bends to ≈R300 mm and is cut on site, the shape can be drawn to suit the room rather than assembled from standard lengths — which is the reason a semi-flexible band is specified instead of a rigid track profile.

What carries the current on an R18 run, and what still has to be confirmed
Two things are printed on the sheets supplied for this page: the electrical class of every component, and which components carry power along the run. Everything else about control has to be confirmed with the VOC Lighting team on the quotation.
Every luminaire and both power supplies are printed at DC 48V
All 32 luminaire sheets, the R18 track band and the two power supplies are printed at DC 48V. That shared figure is a component-level statement: the mains input for the power supply, and the transformer or driver arrangement behind it, are not printed on either supply sheet and require confirmation.
IP20 and −20°C to 40°C belong to the power supply, not to the track band
The IP20 protection grade and the −20°C to 40°C operating ambient range are printed on the two power supply sheets. No IP grade is printed on the track sheets, so the protection class of the installed band requires confirmation before a project specifies it in a non-dry environment.
The sheets print no dimming protocol, no independent or grouped control capability, no maximum load per run and no attachment method — the luminaire-to-track connection is shown through the adapter, input and conductive modules rather than as a published specification, so whether the R18 fitting is a magnetic attachment requires confirmation. A shared 48V rating does not by itself establish that components from another track system can be combined on one run; confirm the accessory set against the layout before ordering.

Product questions
Before you specify an R18 semi-flexible track
What is the VOC Lighting R18 system?
The VOC Lighting R18 is a 48V semi-flexible track lighting system: a conductive track band with an 18 × 5 mm minimum cross-section, delivered in 5, 10 and 20 metre rolls and bent on site to a minimum radius of approximately 300 mm, carrying 32 luminaire models printed from 2W to 30W. The sheets supplied for this page cover the track band, the pendant and linear hardware, a circular accessory set, two power supplies and the luminaire range.
How tight can the R18 track bend?
Approximately R300 mm. The track sheet prints a minimum curvature radius of ≈R300 mm and states that the track can be cut and folded in situ, so the run is bent to the drawn geometry rather than assembled from fixed lengths. One layout sheet also prints an R80 mm circle, which is smaller than that stated minimum and requires confirmation before it is used in a design.
Is the R18 track a magnetic track?
The series sheets carry the header "48V R18 Magnetic Track Light System", but none of them describes or draws a magnetic attachment: the luminaire-to-track connection is shown through the adapter module, the input module and the conductive modules, and the track itself is described as a conductive band with two co-extruded copper conductors. Treat the name as the series name rather than as a specification, and confirm the attachment method with the quotation — luminaires from another magnetic track system should not be assumed to fit an R18 run.
What voltage and protection class does the R18 system use?
Every luminaire sheet, the track band and both power supplies are printed at DC 48V. IP20 protection and a −20°C to 40°C operating ambient range are printed on the two power supply sheets — no IP grade is printed for the track band itself, so the protection class of the installed track requires confirmation.
What colours and finishes are available?
The track band is printed in five colours — black, gray, green, khaki and orange — available for selection and free combination. The luminaires are printed in black, white or gold, and the sheets state that the track shell and track strip colours can be freely changed. A specific track colour matched to a specific luminaire finish is not printed on the sheets.
How is the track delivered, and can it be cut?
The track is delivered in 5, 10 and 20 metre rolls. Because of its material properties it can be cut and folded in situ with a minimum radius of 300 mm, which is what allows a run to follow a drawn curve instead of a standard profile length.
How many luminaire models does the R18 system offer?
32 models are printed across the R18 luminaire sheets, from 2–10W on the XS1822 semi-flexible D12 long tube lamp up to 30W on the GD1809 spotlight. Beam angles range from 15°–55° on the focus folding spotlights to 360° on the silicone light strips, with lens optics on the spotlight family and PC modules on the floodlight and ball family.
Is the colour temperature adjustable?
The sheets print a 3000–6000K CCT figure on every luminaire. Whether that figure is a tunable range on the fitting or an ordering range covering separate CCT versions is not stated on the sheets and requires confirmation. Every luminaire sheet also prints ON-OFF, CRI ≥90 and a flicker figure below 3%.
Can R18 luminaires be used on another 48V track system?
No conclusion can be drawn from the shared 48V figure alone. The sheets print no compatibility statement between the VOC Lighting R18 band, its modules and another manufacturer's track, and no load rating or maximum run length is printed either. Confirm the accessory set and the intended run before ordering, and treat the printed 48V figure as a component rating rather than a cross-system compatibility claim.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Send the track colour and the roll lengths, the luminaire model codes with quantities, the luminaire finish, the installation set — concealed pendant hardware BR1801, exposed pendant hardware BR1802, the linear hardware set or the circular hanging set — the power supply rating, the control arrangement the layout requires, the drawn geometry of the run and the project country. Pricing, delivery, load data, certificates and the final component package are confirmed with the quotation.
